ATOMIC CITY

The ATOMIC CITY building used to be a furniture store. We knew it would be the perfect space so we purchased the site in July of 2020 and began work.

 

After 5 months of demo work--from tearing out walls and floors, removing drop ceilings, and renovating every inch--ATOMIC CITY opened its doors on December 26th, 2020.

 

Being that our opening occurred during the middle of COVID, we only offered Go Karts, our Arcade, and The Flip Zone initially. But as the months rolled on, our other attractions came to life. 

We have been blessed with support from our community and from tourists, too!

ATOMIC CITY is special because it was built for ADULTS! Yes, there is plenty to see and do for all ages, but we wanted to create a space where adults could have fun and relieve some stress.

 

Wondering about our name? Well, our wonderful city, Paducah, KY is known as the Atomic City. This is because of our nuclear facility a few miles down the road from our location. Fun fact: it was a weapon-building site for the US Nuclear Arms program for World War II.
